Friends of the Library
"We bring together people who are interested in supporting the library as a learning center and focal point of our community"

Join The Friends of the Bayfield Carnegie Library
An invitation to become a member of a group committed to helping the library continue in its mission of nurturing the love of reading and serving as a center of learning and culture for the community.
As we look forward to celebrating the centennial for the Bayfield Carnegie Library, members of our community have come together to create a more formal support group for the library. Our group will take on a variety of challenges that actively and financially support the library. All are invited to join to share in creating a vibrant library support program.
Activities you can be involved in by joining us at our meetings:
- A "Share Your Knowledge" Program, such as cooking classes, art instruction or outdoor skills workshops.
- Travel and current events programs offered by community members.
- After-school programming.
- Support for already extablished library fundraising activites, such as the Spring Thrift Sale and Apple Blossom Run.
Please come and join our meetings when you can. The more people who become prt of the Friends, the more innivative and strong will be the role of our library in the community.
